A beautiful antique French Louis-Philippe wall mirror from the early 1900s. The mirror has the typical Louis-Philippe shape, rectangular with rounded top corners. The mirror has an ebonized frame which is patchy in places and decorative gilt raised floral pattern and gold beading. There are some small areas where the floral pattern is worn. As the frame is made of resin/plaster it is a delicate piece and as is common with these mirrors there is some damage to the plaster but considering its age it is in good shape! The mirror plate is nicely aged with foxing and black spots and would work well in a traditional or contemporary setting. A really stunning mirror!
