A gorgeous large vintage French mid-century teachers school desk. The desk has a metal tubular frame with a solid wood and veneer top. The desk has three side drawers and original lock and key. The drawers are made of solid wood and veneer and have dove tailed joints. The desk is in overall good original condition, there are some age related marks and imperfections to the desktop as we have tried to show in the photos. The drawers are clean but as is common with these desks there are marks and ink stains to the drawers and some water marks to the drawer fronts. The grey metal painted frame is beautifully worn and the paint has completely come off in places. A really stunning piece!
