A beautiful French vintage compact surveillant desk attributed to Jean Prouvé and designed in the 1950s. The desk has a tubular steel frame with the original metallic green so often used by Prouvé. The oak veneer desk top is in overall good condition with marks and imperfections as to be expected. On the right hand side is a shelf which provides useful storage. Although the desk has no makers mark all the details point to it being by Prouvé, a really lovely desk!
