A lovely classic mid century chest of drawers by James Leonard for Esavian. The drawers have a solid beech frame, veneer beech ply top and sides and the solid beech drawer fronts have cutaway handles. The unit is in overall good condition, as is common with these sets of drawers there is some wear to the veneer top and sides as we have tried to show in the photos. The drawer fronts were painted when we recieved them and we have refreshed them with Farrow and Ball’s ‘Lime White’. The insides of the drawers are mostly very clean but some have paint and ink marks as to be expected from a well used school piece! Esavian (Educational Supply Association) supplied schools with good quality furniture and these drawers were used in many schools, a really beautiful piece!
