A lovely large set of rustic numbered vintage French cubby holes. The unit had been used until recently in a van selling groceries in France. It has been adapted many times over the years so shows signs of a characterful life! The unit is made from pine and has 25 cubby holes. The top is sloped so the top of the first row of cubby holes taper. The depth of the unit is also narrower at the top and wider at the base. There is no back and as can be seen in the photos the backs of the shelves are not flush and are all slightly different. As it is a well used piece there are many marks, imperfections as to be expected, this all adds to its vintage charm!  We have given the cubby holes a good clean, a light sand and oiled the top and sides to protect the wood. The unit needs to be fixed to the wall for stability as there is movement when it stands on its own. The front panels have painted rustic white numbers which add character to the piece. Great in a home or commercial setting, a really striking item!
