These lovely large vintage Benjamin factory pendant lights came from Cambridge train station. The shades are made from white vitreous enamel with original steel gallery embossed with the makers name and details (only visible on one shade). The lights are in good original condition, there are a few rusts marks and imperfections and one of the galleries is rusty as can be seen in the photos. The lights have been rewired with black and white cable and PAT tested
 
Originating in Chicago in 1898 the Benjamin Electric Manufacturing Company was founded by Reuben Berkley Benjamin. After success in the US and Canada they expanded to the UK and had factories in London where many of the classic factory shades were manufactured.
