This beautiful large vintage desk came from a school director in Eastern France. The desk has a metal tubular frame, wooden desk top and side drawers. In original vintage condition there are many marks and imperfections as to be expected from a well used piece. There are some burn marks, scratches and wear to the desk top as we have tried to show in the photos. The metal tubular frame has marks to the paintwork and it has completely worn off in places, this all adds to its vintage charm. The deep drawers run smoothly, there are a few small marks and ink stains as is common with a desk of this age. The top drawer has had a repair to the front at some point in its life, we have left it as it is as we think it all adds to its history and patina, a really stunning piece!
