A beautiful antique French Louis-Philippe mantle mirror from around the 1900s. The mirror has the typical Louis-Philippe shape, rectangular with rounded top corners and beading around the centre edge. The mirror has been painted at some point in its life and some of the original finish can be seen where the paint has worn, it all adds to the mirrors history! As the frame is made of resin/plaster it is a delicate piece but considering its age it is in good shape! The mirror plate is in overall good condition with some aging and black spots, The original wooden back is still intact. It would work well in a traditional or contemporary setting, a really lovely mirror!
