These lovely vintage French SNCG Voiture (carriage) numbers were used on French railways and included the depot locations like Calais or Tourcoing on most of them. The numbers slid onto exterior body slots by the carriage doors. The letters have a white background on steel plates and red typography, the plates have heavy iron brackets on the back. In original condition there are many marks and imperfections as to be expected from heavily used industrial pieces but this all adds to their history and charm!
