A beautiful antique French Louis-Philippe mantle mirror from the early 1900s. The mirror has the typical Louis-Philippe shape, rectangular with rounded top corners. The painted frame has a decorative pattern which is in overall good original condition. There are some small areas where some of the plaster is missing and some plaster is missing at the bottom but the patina is lovely. As the frame is made of resin/plaster it is a delicate piece but considering its age it is in good shape! The original mirror plate is beautifully aged with foxing and black spots, it has a cardboard back but the mirror is fixed firmly in place. It would work well in a traditional or contemporary setting, really stunning mirror!
