A lovely galvanized steel bucket made by the British manufacturer Bradley & Co. Ltd (known as Beldray). The bucket has the embossed makers stamp at the top which also has the British broad arrow (or war department arrow) this shows that the bucket was official government issues property made for use durning World War II. The stencilled text 'Fire Water' is still visible showing it was intended to be filled with water rather than sand. In overall good original condition it has great patina and wear from heavy use over the years. It would make a perfect plant pot or log storage, a great piece of history!
