A lovely large Bakelite wall clock made by Elferma (Electro Mechanics Mittwelde) of Leipzig in the 1960s. These clocks were used in industrial settings like factories and stations in East Germany. The clock is in overall good condition with marks and imperfections to the face and bakelite surround as to be expected. The clock has its original back which can easily be unscrewed to change the time or battery or can be left off if preferred. The clock is in good working order and has been fitted with a modern high torque quartz movement which requires an AA battery. A really lovely piece!
