Lovely large vintage industrial factory lights by Maxlume from around the 1950s. In great original condition there are a few marks, imperfections and rust spots to the enamel on the outside and inside of the shades. The lights are made up of a vitreous green enamel shade and cast iron galleries with embossed manufacturers patent mark on the top. One light still has the original makers sticker. The lights have been rewired with a black 3 core braided flex and have their original galleries and porcelain lamp holders, they have been tested and are in full working order.
 
Maxlume began in Birmingham in the 1920s and the business grew as demand increased. The company was taken over in the 1950s by Verity's but products were still produced under the Maxlume trademark.
