A lovely early 1900s antique large extendable surveyors staff. The staff is made up of an oak casing with brass fixings. There are three sections which all slot together, they click into place with brass levers. In good working order but the sections can be a little hard to move and need encouragement! There are many marks and imperfections as to be expected from a well used piece of equipment and some of the paint has completely worn away on the top section of one of the measures. The staff has a name plate on the back that reads 'Turner & Henderson, Sydney'. Great as a display piece to prop up against a wall!
