A beautiful antique French faux bamboo coat rack from around the 1900s. These pieces were popular around the early 1900s when bamboo was not readily available so the bamboo was copied in wood by furniture makers. The coat rack has three mushroom shaped hat knobs to the top and three fold down coat hooks to the bottom. In overall good original condition there are a few marks and imperfections as to be expected. The piece can be fixed to the wall with the metal fastenings on each end. A beautiful piece!
