Mid century industrial chair designed by Margarete Klöber for Polstergleich
A beautiful mid century industrial chair designed by Margarete Klöber for Polstergleich. The company Polstergleich was founded in Germany by Margarete Klöber in 1935 and it was the beginning of the first ergonomic factory chairs. The chair is made up of a laminated beech wood seat and back, solid beech feet and a metal frame. The chair is in overall good vintage condition with the usual wear and tear as to be expected. Underneath the seat are four steel springs in good condition and the back rest is adjustable in height and depth which makes the chair very comfortable. The Postergleich logo is shown on the original Bakelite knob which adjusts the height of the back rest. A really stunning chair!
