Jielde two arm industrial lamp – original colour
1 in stock
A lovely Jielde two arm industrial lamp in its original colour. The lamps were designed by the French engineer Jean-Louis Domecq in the 1950s and were originally to be used in factories. This lamp dates from around the 1960s, has two arms and all original Jielde parts from that period apart from the lead and plug. The lamp is made from steel except for the base and joints which are aluminium. The lamp has the original Jielde brand plate on the shade and a switch on the neck. A brake disk has been added to the base so it can be used as a floor lamp. The original green paint is in overall good condition with marks and imperfections as to be expected, the most noticeable being a small patch on the shade as can be seen in the photos. The shade has no significant dents and the paint on the inside of the shade is in great condition. In full working order, a really lovely lamp!
