A lovely set of vintage Canadian snowshoes from around the 1960s. Showshoes were essential for walking on deep snow and are usually made from Ash. The wood was steamed or soaked and then bent into shape. In original conditon with there marks, imperfections and many historical repairs as to be expected from well used items, we have adjusted the price to reflect this. The shoes make great festive decorative pieces displayed on a wall.
