A stunning antique French notaire tambour cabinet. The cabinet has a tambour front which raises to reveal 10 storage compartments with pull down fronts. The fronts each have their original brass buttons and label holders. The lock has the makers label beautifully embossed on the front, there is no lock and key. The cabinet base also has sliding tambour doors which open onto a lower cupboard with a fixed shelf, there is no lock and key on these doors either. In overall good original condition there are marks and imperfections as to be expected. The cabinet is extremely well made and is heavy! A really great piece!
