A beautiful antique French Louis-Philippe mantle mirror from the late 1800s. The mirror has the typical Louis-Philippe shape, rectangular with rounded top corners. The gold frame has a decorative gold raised floral pattern which is in overall good original condition. There are some small areas where some of the plaster is missing and there have been historical repairs in places. As the frame is made of resin/plaster it is a delicate piece but considering its age it is in good shape! The original mercury mirror plate is beautifully aged with foxing and black spots. It would work well in a traditional or contemporary setting, really stunning mirror!
