Nils ‘Nisse’ Strinning (1917-2006) was a Swedish architect and designer. He was most known for the string bookshelf system which he and his wife Kajsa Strinning, also a designer, designed in 1949 for Bonniers Folkbibliotek. (Peoples library)
The shelves we have in stock date from the 1950s and are in good original vintage condition. There are minor scratches and scuffs as to be expected to both the wood shelves and metal coated ladders.
